Hard IPv4 requirements¶

Software/hardware that we were not yet able to shift to IPv6.

• Kerlink LoraWan gateway
  • the packet forwarder binary does only work via IPv4
• Keepalived for IPv4
  • Having an IPv4 address with VRRP is required for setting up IPv4
  • Should be able to phase out once VMs only use IPv4 via NAT64
• conntrackd
  • does not work on ipv6
  • gives pton() errors when trying to use ipv6
