IPv6 words - name your networks

Some say IPv6 is harder because you need to memorise the long addresses. You can though create fun words with IPv6, which you can't with IPv4.

For instance:

  • 1337 (leet)
  • 1ce (ice)
  • 337 (eel)
  • 5a1ad (salad)
  • 5ea1 (seal)
  • 7001 (tool)
  • 7ea (tea)
  • 900d (good)
  • ace
  • add
  • b00b (boob)
  • ba5e (base)
  • babe
  • bad
  • ba7 (bat)
  • beef
  • c0c0 (as in coconut)
  • c0de (code)
  • cabba9e (cabbage)
  • cafe
  • da7a (data)
  • dead
  • deaf
  • deed
  • f00d (food)
  • f001 (fool)
  • f19 (fig)
  • fa1afe1 (falafel)
  • fa11 (fall)
  • fa57 (fast)
  • feed

Some combinations

  • ::add:cafe
  • ::fa57:f00d
