* none: No IPv6 support whatever
14
* limited: somewhat works, mostly unusable
15
* partial: mostly works
16
* most: has most features, can be used productively, advanced features missing
17
* full: works fully in IPv6 only networks

h2. Mikrotik RouterOS
30 3 Nico Schottelius
31 6 Nico Schottelius
As of/until RouterOS 6.44.3, devices can assign themselves IPv6, can route IPv6, but devices cannot be updated in IPv6 only networks (not even with DNS64/NAT64 in place).
32
33
What works:
34
35
* DNS resolution via IPv6
36 15 Nico Schottelius
* CAPSMAN: adding a capsman manually (directly with the IPv6 address) works
37 6 Nico Schottelius
38 8 Nico Schottelius
Quirks:
39
40
* DNS is in the "IP" menu, IPv6 DNS works there, too
41
42 9 Nico Schottelius
What does not work/is missing:
43 1 Nico Schottelius
44 16 Nico Schottelius
* Accepting an IPv6 address from router advertisements
45 15 Nico Schottelius
* Upgrade in IPv6 only networks (it tries to connect via IPv4, even if there is DNS64/NAT64 present)
46
* NAT64: no option in routeros
47
* DNS64: there is no option for it in the DNS server
48
* CAPSMAN: cannot discover the capsman via ipv6 address
49 3 Nico Schottelius
50
h2. Mikrotik SwitchOS
51
52
* Management IP cannot be IPv6
53 1 Nico Schottelius
* No IPv6 updates
54 7 Nico Schottelius
55
Highly disrecommended, as they cannot be managed in IPv6 only networks, not even after manual configuration.
56 3 Nico Schottelius
57
h2. Arista EOS
58
59 4 Nico Schottelius
As of EOS 4.18.6 EOS mostly works with IPv6. In Arista 7050 with 4.18.6 there is are no NAT64 capabilties.
60 5 Nico Schottelius
61
h2. Ubiquiti
62
63 18 Nico Schottelius
h3. HD AP AC Pro
64
65 5 Nico Schottelius
The HD AP AC Pro was tested on 2019-05-01 and the result was as follows:
66
67
* The mobile phone app only works with IPv4 (discovery, basic config)
68
* The AP accepts IPv6 from the network via router advertisements
69
* The AP does not have rdnssd installed, so there are no DNS servers on the AP itself
70 11 Nico Schottelius
* It seems the AP stops broadcasting its SSID after some time without IPv4
71 17 Nico Schottelius
72
h3. Edge Router X SFP, v2.0.3, 2019-06-01
73
74
* No nat64
75
* No dns64
76
* No router advertisements (or fields for it)
77
* No DHCPv6 server
78
* address fields support both ipv4 and ipv6
79
* by default does not accept address via SLAAC
80
* Routing does not show IPv6 routes
81
* Firewall does not allow to add IPv6 networks in the source field
82
* Web interface is reachable by IPv6
